Did you know that there are ways to make your ride more comfortable, smoother, enjoyable and much more beneficial? Let's discuss some simple adjustments riders can make to have a better experience during spin class.

#1 Positioning the seat

The [seat] should be adjusted right at your hip level. Once you're on the saddle, bring one leg down to the six o’clock position, making sure you have a slight bend in that knee. Your opposite knee should be at a 3 o'clock position.

#2 The distance between the seat and the handlebars

The ideal distance from the seat to the handlebars can be found by sitting on the saddle with both pedals at an equal distance from the ground. If the seat is properly adjusted, your knees will line not go past the front of your foot.

#3 Adjust your handle bars

Once your seat is adjusted, adjust your handlebars to align with the height of your seat. The handlebars are there to assist your ride. Your weight should always be in your legs.

#4 Regular shoes VS Spin shoes

You can wear sneakers to most spin classes, however specialized spin shoes are recommended to activate the right muscle groups and promote utilizing proper form on the bike.
